BioWare working on Knights of the Old Republic 3…
Some more rumors, i’ve dug up. According to GamesRadar.com “Ex-employee’s” of LucasArts have leaked a bunch of information about the rumored upcoming Knights of the Old Republic 3.
“An ex-employee of LucasArts has leaked details regarding a number of titles in development, including a BioWare-developed Knights of the Old Republic MMO.
The source has told Kotaku that he is one of 75-100 employees laid off in a massive shake-up yesterday, including the producer of the LEGO Star Wars and Indy titles.
As well as KotOR 3, the ex-staffer spilled the beans on production going ahead with Battlefront 3 (developed by Free Radical), a new (non-LEGO) Indy game we already knew about and a Wii lightsaber game.
Considering the leak comes from an ex-LucasArts employee, we’re not expecting confirmation of these titles any time soon. Still, we know that LucasArts and BioWare are working on something together. Just have to wait and see.”

MMO-Massively Multi-player Online game.
I hope they release it for the ps3, not just the x-box platform and PC version like last time around.

They have ruined KOTOR! MMORPG’s are the worst: too many players, unstoppable lag etc etc! This game must be a 1 player game on xbox 360.

An Xbox 360 exclusive is what should be done. Take advantage of the controler features for once, other than mouse and keyboard. Make it like S.W. Galaxies where all the characters are other players who can actually think. A nice game of pazaak against an actual person and not a computer would make me happy.

to all that like kotor1 and kotor2. it be good to put kotor3 both ways meaning keep the sequel going with the exile. then travel back to the old republic and have the mmo trust me when i say that would make a game like that playable it would be good for bioware and lucasarts. also the systems should be xbox360 because of the same thing i said in the last post its true. the creators of the game should have it the way they want it where not the people creating it they are. we just hope you make it good.for the people that has any comments of the facts and options i said put a comment under mine and tell me if you agree.

If it is an MMO then maybe, just maybe it might be fun if it had the campaign and the online playing separate (like HALO). Then we can have it our way, essentially. -That way no monthly fee is required to look cool and Jump around deflecting blaster bolts. An aspect I am looking forward to is more flexibility. -What if I do not want to be jedi? -I would like to be able to choose the archetype in which I advance.

Hi all im a very big of swkotor1 and 2 and im very diserpointed that they are makeing a the 3rd into a mmo. i think that thery would lose so many fans doing this. in my orpin they should make the mmo and the squal so every one is happy that whrt i think if they are just sticking to the mmo thing then i wont be buing it. i love kotor but i hate mmo.

WHY on earth would you make this game a mmorpg? So what you go online and everyone going to be jedis and kids cussing everyone out, and the real story of kotor will be lost.

I hope that some of you fans of kotor 1 and 2 vote that they should continue the saga with the exile following revans path to the unknown regions. I have wad reading your comments saying that they should continue the saga and some people said keep the mmo. here the question why? whats the point of doing it makes it seem so weird. alright let me explain. You like how kotor 2 went right. so the exile left or stayed on malachor v right what happens next oh wait this is what happens bioware makes mmo so that means no continue the saga and end it for good wow thats pretty wierd if you dont mind me saying. if you agree with me post a comment under this and help us out were not alone in this you guys and girls.

Hey I Got good news. Even though this kotor mmo has ruined my hope for kotor 3. For fans of star wars battlefront, there has been all that exsitment from the leaked footage on the web. Now don’t yell at me for bringing up battlefront on a kotor website. I will go back to talking about kights. I just think it is great that hopefully one company will give the fan what they want. This is TERRIBLE news! I sincerely hope the mmo thing isnt true. Mmo’s have their place and Kotor isnt one of them! I agree with the guy up there. Making it an mmo would make the story essentially non-existent.

I can’t believe that KOTOR is not going to be a RPG. I’ve been waiting to long for KOTOR3 to be reading this news of it being an MMO. I will sell all 40,000 star wars fig. I have an never buy star wars anything again if I can’t have my KOTOR3 the way it was meant to be played(RPG PLEASE)then Lucas will lose a super-collector in me. I’m so sad. Someone tell me this isn’t so…what are they doing to the best RPG of all time…they are killing it!!!!!!
I wanted to play as Revan since KOTOR1 guess that’s gone now…so sad SO SAD

in my opinion, i don’t think this will go on the 360 because the system could not handle an MMO. I don’t thik any platform other than the PC could handle an MMO. maybe the PS3, because it has thaqt whole MAG thing going with 256 online players in one server. but this also seems far fetched. if they do decide to make a PS3 or Xbox KOTOR then it will be a single player game with possible downloadable content. Also from the videos i have watched they seem to be in the deliberating process. so who knows they might change their mind and we get what we want.

I will be pissed if it is a mmo because it will be full of people like jeff who dont have a fucking clue about the other kotors you will lose the story lines. The reason we love Kotor is because of the storylines and characters with a mmo you lose that and myself and many others will be pissed

Me again i just want to say that if it is a mmo then lucas arts can go fuck themselfs and i hope that no one buys the game. All they are thinking of it the monthly subscription fees and thats it. I am so angry i love this game more then mass effect and i am so upset that this could be true. I urged everyone to boy cot this game and starwars can now go fuck themselfs.

Well T-Niggs, Star Wars The Old Republic ‘is’ going to be an mmo. And if you love the game so much I believe you can pay a measly 15-30 bucks a month to play it.
How can you say that you love the game if you’re not even going to try it. You dont even know how the game will function. You’re one of the few people who see an mmo just as WoW. SWTOR is an mmo but its still going to have a storyline and characters you can interact with. You’ll have companions are you’re still going to play the KOTOR story line.
Theres videos out there explaining whats up and how the game is going to work. Look em up if you really are a fan of the game.
And seriously bro if you only joined to dis the game why join in the first place?

… are ranking sytem is as this…we increse concil members the more jedi we get…and they are all lyftime so ur never kicked out unless u violate the jedi code of conduct..THE JEDI CODE…and everyone will be provided a master… we will have our own order sanctuary..and if we are lucky we’ll get a temple…all us jedi of as now ill be stationed on Tython…then we shall station masters with a few other jedi on other planets…most masters will be accompanied by there apprentice…and the jedi council votes on desisions..likewhere to move our jedi and what to do in bad situations…we will only be in groups of 5 or 6 when we are being attacked in large numbers… and space battles(if theyre in there) we are still discussing our grand master has no extra power over us except that he started the order… am i a jedi master ?no im an apprentice i wus supposed to be but i didnt wunt to..so the grand master took me as his own apprentice…the earlier you join the higher rank your assigned..you may go down if you are lacking in training or if you violate a law..we are still discussing about if the council may exile other ppl or not for breaking a jedi code…..so please reply to this…and i will give u info to find me n our order…

please make kotor 3 cus to this day i still play kotor 1 and 2 and i know you all can make kotor 3 jus as fun if not more jus add a good love plot sum new jedi moves and powers… just do you, yall are bioware, you all make great games and like the other guy said lucas likes money doesnt he. lol theres alota people out here who want this game, way more who blog or write messages on the websites.

WHAT! They cannot make KOTOR 3 into an MMO game! Knights of the Old Republic is a fantastic game and why?! Because of its intriguing, structured storyline and everything else that goes along with it. How the hell would it even work if there was a bunch of idiots running around? It doesn’t make sense. I’m looking forward to KOTOR 3… but if they are making it MMO I’m sure as hell not paying $60 for it.

They should make a solo mode but if you have online play on your 360 or PS3 it could be like a mmo like instead of on a keyboard just make KOTOR 3 online like Halo 3
