Knights of the Old Republic MMO to be revealed soon…
Interesting, a post was made today via ComputerAndVideoGames.com, basically stating that the new Knights of the Old Republic MMO would be, “unveiled” later this month or possibly even within the next few weeks.
There is a lot of speculation on this because some people believe that it is something else that Bioware is currently working on, also that people are spectacle because rumor of Kotor 3 have been circulating for years now. There is also belief that this is just scam to build more hype for something else and also the fact that we’ve been, “fooled” before, with some of the announcements that Kotor would have been released in 2006/07, which obviously, it hasn’t.

“BioWare’s Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic MMO game is set to be ‘officially’ unveiled later this month, CVG has learnt.
The long-awaited online Star Wars – perhaps the games industry’s worst kept secret – is being developed by BioWare Austin, which has been tinkering away behind the scenes on the title for over two years.
Officially the company hasn’t admitted to any sort of Star Wars link with its MMO, but EA boss John Riccitiello let slip earlier this year that the RPG developer was in fact working on the online KOTOR, claiming that it is “quite possibly the most anticipated game, full stop, for the industry.”
But it looks like the game won’t (officially at least) be a secret for long. LucasArts and BioWare look set to lift the lid on a KOTOR MMO within the next 30 days.
Backing up all this is the strongest confirmation yet (other than EA’s boss saying it’s in the works, of course) from UK newspaper, The Daily Star, of all places.
A column that appeared last Saturday reports that the rag is soon off to San Francisco to “file an exclusive report on the game”, after stating that BioWare is working on “a MMO of Knights of the Old Republic”.

to all that like kotor1 and kotor2. it be good to put kotor3 both ways meaning keep the sequel going with the exile. then travel back to the old republic and have the mmo trust me when i say that would make a game like that playable it would be good for bioware and lucasarts. also the systems should be xbox360 because of the same thing i said in the last post its true. the creators of the game should have it the way they want it where not the people creating it they are. we just hope you make it good.for the people that has any comments of the facts and options i said put a comment under mine and tell me if you agree.

Kotor 1&2 are what brought me into the rpg world. Yea, games like fable are great too but kotor just does it for me. Story line of kotor 1 was awsome. Get a story line like that and combine it with the game play of Kotor 2 and you’ve got the greatest rpg ever. The more customizable the weapons are the better. Give the litesaber so many slots to customize you’ll never have the same saber each time you play. A 360 exclusive game would be ideal. Give it xbox Live so even when you beat the game you can continue playing(much like S.W. Galaxies).

I love Kotor 1 & 2, and hope they make a three. it would be awsome to have one online and actually play with other people.
I’m just wondering, what happened to your character in Kotor 1….i went dark side all the way, and became Darth Revan again….but what happened to him in Kotor 2….any advice would be much appriciated lol.

The fact that BioWare is making an mmo for KoToR is ambitous and I hope it succeeds in becoming and awesome game. I’ll be buying it just because of the fact that I’m a die-hard fan. The answer to the question, “Will it live up to the name KoToR and compete with other mmo’s like WoW?” remains to be seen.
