in my opinion kotor 1 was the best game i’ve ever played, so you can imagine that when I say kotor 2 was a bit disapointing, but overall both games were really amazing. If they made another single player kotor it would be amazing and people would play for years to come, but it would inevitably end. Thats why I think an MMO would be outstanding because if you actually think about it then it makes total sense. like i said before a campaign would be great, but it would eventually end. an MMO on the other hand would go for years. It would also definitely pass WoW because there are SO many more Star Wars fans than anything. a Star Wars MMO would introduce so many more people to the Star Wars saga and it would spread like wildfire. Star Wars would be even more worldwide reknown than it already is. Star Wars The Old Republic is going to be phenomenal. I CANT WAIT

Is anyone really surprised that something with George Lucas’ name on it is being raped? They have completely bastardized the star wars franchise in the last ten years. I loved KOTOR 1 & 2 and continue to play them over and over again but I hate MMOs and the culture that has developed around them. I will not ever purchase a KOTOR MMO and will instead prefer to reminisce and mourn the death of a once great line of video games.

i have no idea why a successful series,(in format)will be changed other than greed.I have played Kotor 1&2 many times(and all alignments) and its nice to just turn on a game console and have a “mini-vacation”…No stress and at your own pace and on your own time with no interferance.I think they made a mountain out of a mole hill.All they needed to do was create 2 games…..Kotor 3 the light path,and Kotor 3 the dark path.I would rather pay for 2 games and have the continuity from the previous games intact.

I bought “Force Unleashed” and never passed 1 hour of playing before pitching it.Seeing how fast i can do button combinations is boring and I refuse to do it just to see the story line unfold…..major FAIL!

Kotor 1&2 are intellectually stimulating as well as challenging and i cannot see the point of ruining a formula that works for thousands of its fans/followers only to alienate them for a differant kind of gaming crowd.

i had been holding out on buying a new gaming console just to see what Kotor 3 would come out on and buy both at the same time……looks like i’ll be saving some money by not getting either……..

I think the MMO is a good idea but i only want KOTOR 3 for the storyline and i heard that once a desion is done it DONE so we will never know what happens the other way
( We may never know about revan ) And the MMO sould be for the 360 on xbox live
but i dont want a MMO anyways
What about people who dont have the internet?
or have a good conection to the internet?Computer space?Will it be monthly cost?We wnat answers
They will be losing out on alot of people

I hate the fact that this is an mmo,And I would say that about 70 to 80% agree with me.So you say you can’t please everyone,why not please 70 to 80% of us.Kotor 1&2 were great games,but you shoud make kotor 3 first.then after you finish the third installment,you can make an mmo.It’s an everybody wins sittuation

Hahaha…this is hilarious, over half of you will not be allowed to play this because your mommies can not afford it! Hellooo…the economy. Blizzard Entertainment has recently released a statement stating that MMO gaming will take a huge hit compared to single player RPG games because of the economy, two software companies currently developing MMOs’ have suspended production and pushed production on other titles. Why do you think Conan the Hyborian Tales is being pushed back for release on the 360 while the Witcher RPG’s are being pushed forward….’ding, ding, ding’!

Many family expenses are being cut, some as far as cable or going with different internet providers. And you think they will want to pay money so their child can play online monthly? I don’t think so, right now WOW is the king and I guarantee their production cost to stay that way will remain minimal because they are making extensions and not a base game, add in that World of Warcraft the movie is getting ready to go into production, they will likely stay atop the MMO world. The losers from this debacle are the gamers, more fans wanted an RPG they got an MMO, and let alone that it is a PC based game, Kotor and Kotor II were made by console fans, not PC fans. They were not even going to make a PC version till it became the hottest title on the XBOX!!!

They are not listening to us because they have not felt the loss…Galaxies made money till many said it was crap, they think they can revamp off that…lol. No, the losers are the gamers, when they cannot play and the money is gone, they will be forced to cut the production of future titles and eventually they will be as they were before the XBOX, making hit and run titles with a gem every other ten games…
