BioWare working on Knights of the Old Republic 3…
Some more rumors, i’ve dug up. According to GamesRadar.com “Ex-employee’s” of LucasArts have leaked a bunch of information about the rumored upcoming Knights of the Old Republic 3.
“An ex-employee of LucasArts has leaked details regarding a number of titles in development, including a BioWare-developed Knights of the Old Republic MMO.
The source has told Kotaku that he is one of 75-100 employees laid off in a massive shake-up yesterday, including the producer of the LEGO Star Wars and Indy titles.
As well as KotOR 3, the ex-staffer spilled the beans on production going ahead with Battlefront 3 (developed by Free Radical), a new (non-LEGO) Indy game we already knew about and a Wii lightsaber game.
Considering the leak comes from an ex-LucasArts employee, we’re not expecting confirmation of these titles any time soon. Still, we know that LucasArts and BioWare are working on something together. Just have to wait and see.”
LucasArts Hiring MMO Staff…
Awhile back, a couple posts were made via IGN.com and TheForce.net that LucasArts were hiring staff as well as MMO testers, presumably for the new Knights of the Old Republic 3 – MMO. Of course, we don’t know whether this was actually what they were hiring for, but with a lot of wishful thinking, we can always hope that it was for Knights of the Old Republic 3.
Here are the excerps from both websites including the job posting from LucasFilm.

And from IGN.com:
LucasArts has recently advertised for testers for an MMO, further stoking rumours that the much cherished Knights of the Old Republic is to be given the massively multiplayer treatment.
The posting, picked up by TheForce.net, unsurprisingly gives little away beyond the job basics – but it serves as an indication that there is an MMO currently being worked upon by LucasArts, and whether it’s the heavily rumoured Knights of the Old Republic remains to be seen.
Earlier this year, LucasArts revealed that it is working with the original game’s developer BioWare on an as yet undisclosed title, but it is nothing to do with Knights of the Old Republic. We’ll endeavour to get an answer out of LucasArts once the sun rises in America.
